Eco-Committee

The Eco-Committee consists of 17 students from different year groups and Mr Byrne, Mr Gray, Mr Sinclair & Mr Alexander. They meet every thursday in their lunchbreak in Mr Gray's room to look at ways to improve the school environment. They have campaigned for more litter bins, organised a poster competition for the bins, made up a school eco-code and are currently undertaking an environmental review to assess how good the school is at reducing waste, recycling paper & re-using things like envelopes, saving energy by switching off PCs and Lights when possible.
If you would like to join this environmentally aware group, just turn up to Mr Grays room on Thursday lunchtimes.
There is also an opportunity to get involved in the school's gardening project.
See Ms Croll for more info.
